  • 3cm x 3cm x 11cm If your birthday is in February, you are probably familiar with this beautiful crystal. Amethyst is made mainly of quartz. Their purple color comes from its aluminum and iron properties and can range from pink to a dark purple. This popular gemstone originated in ancient Greek times. Now, higher quality amethyst is mainly found in Brazil and Uruguay but can be found all over the world, including the United States.
  • 24grams, 3.5cm x 3.5cm x 1cm
  • 19cm x 8cm x 7cm Cactus quartz is a rare specimen that can only be found in the Magaliesberg Mountains in South Africa. Its color can range from a yellow hue (as pictured) to a purple hue. Cactus quartz is formed when a second generation of quartz points form on top of the original crystal points.
  • 9cm Wide Aragonite is a carbonate mineral that is made up of calcium carbonate. It has the same formula as Calcite, but has a different crystal structure. Most aragonite is made up of hexagonal structures and is found in clusters. Aragonite can be white, colorless, gray, yellow, green, blue, red, purple or brown and is found in oxidized areas of ore deposits, hot spring deposits and caves. It is also found in some metamorphic and igneous rocks depending on location. Gem-quality Aragonite is mostly found in Germany and Austria but can also be found in Czechoslovakia, Sicily, Greece, Spain, and Japan. ***Due to natural variations in stones, appearance will vary***

  • 5 x 2 x 3cm Rose Quartz is an anhedral crystal. It is found in the cores of pegmatites and gets its color from microscopic inclusions of a pink variety of the mineral dumortierite . Rose Quartz is naturally a pink hue but can have more hues of grey/purple or red. This mineral Earth's can be found in many places including South Africa, Madagascar, and Brazil. ***Due to natural variations in stones, the appearance will vary***
  • 5 x 1 x 3cm Pyrite also called iron pyrite or fool's gold, is a naturally occuring iron disulfide mineral. The name comes from the Greek word "pyr" which means "fire" due to it emitting sparks when struck by metal. Pyrite can be found in Italy, China, Peru, and the Netherlands. ***Due to natural variations in stones, the appearance will vary***
  • Quartz is a mineral that is formed in two different ways; as magma is cooled from a very high temperature and when silica-rich water is cooled from a very high temperature. When formed, quartz is transparent and clear. Different inclusions and colors are present depending on the environment that the quartz is formed in. Quartz can be found all over the world but mainly in the Alps, Brazil, and Madagascar. ***Due to natural variations in stones, the appearance will vary***
  • 2 x 1 x 3cm Garden Quartz is a variation of clear quartz that is formed in soils and rocks. Their hues come from different mineral deposits within the crystal. The formation of these crystals happens when carbon dioxide mixes with the silicon dioxide in the atmosphere. These crystals can be found in Brazil. ***Due to natural variations in stones, the appearance will vary***
