  • 6cm - 7cm Tall Moss agate is a semi-precious stone. It is a variety of Chalcedony and it formed from silicon dioxide. The field of this stone is a milky white or clear quartz with blue and green inclusions that form as a result of oxides in the mineral. Their purple color comes from its aluminum and iron properties and can range from pink to a dark purple. This popular gemstone originated in ancient Greek times. Now, higher quality amethyst is mainly found in Brazil and Uruguay but can be found all over the world, including the United States.    
  • 19cm x 8cm x 7cm Cactus quartz is a rare specimen that can only be found in the Magaliesberg Mountains in South Africa. Its color can range from a yellow hue (as pictured) to a purple hue. Cactus quartz is formed when a second generation of quartz points form on top of the original crystal points.  
  • 10cm - 11cm Tall Tiger's eye is a semiprecious stone that is formed when parallel veins of crocidolite fibers are first altered to iron oxides and then replaced by silica. As a result it is more opaque, and creates a rich yellow to brown color.
